The GEA curriculum
GEA is a California Partnership Academy that folds hands-on engineering coursework into a standard, UC/CSU-approved college-prep schedule. Academic classes are threaded with green technology, sustainability, and environmental themes, while Career Technical Education courses run on the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) engineering curriculum — the same framework used to prepare students for two- and four-year engineering and architecture programs.

Software & Tools
CAD modeling, structural analysis tools, and PLTW engineering software give students hands-on fluency with the tools professional engineers use daily.
Electives Still Fit
Students choose freely from LHS electives — band, orchestra, world languages, and more — alongside their GEA cohort courses.
No GPA Gate
Every freshman starts with a clean transcript. Interest and willingness to engage with the program matter more than a prior track record.
